Level 2 Exercise to Music Course Overview
OriGym’s Level 2 ETM course will strengthen your teaching ability, covering the delivery of both choreographed and freestyle classes. The qualification is designed to ensure that you know how to create fitness classes that integrate music as a key focal point.
You’ll also learn about modules such as human anatomy and physiology, as well as how to adapt your teachings to the needs of differing abilities including specialist populations, such as the elderly and children.

How you’ll be assessed
The Level 2 Exercise to Music course is assessed through a combination of online theory papers, practical coursework, and an in-person practical assessment. All resits are free and unlimited, so there is no additional cost if you need to retake any component.
The online theory papers are open book, meaning you can refer to your course materials as you work through them. The practical assessment takes place at one of OriGym’s UK training centres at a date and location that suits you.
If you’ve completed a Level 2 Gym Instructor Course, you’ll be exempt from completing any theory papers. However, you’ll still be required to pass the coursework and final practical assessment.

Our Exercise to Music Level 2 course is an entry-level qualification, meaning there are no necessary prerequisites to enrol. However, we do ask all students be aged 16+ before signing up for the course.
Whilst there are no other requirements, a basic level of maths and English will be needed to understand some of the module’s content. As practical elements are involved, a level of physical fitness will also be necessary.
