What is a HYROX Partner Gym?
The HYROX Gym Affiliation Program is a partnership that gyms can apply for in order to become a part of the brand’s growing community.
Once approved, affiliated gyms are provided with the services, tools, and other benefits to successfully integrate HYROX into their programming. This can help to grow said business through lead generation, member retention and HROX partner promotions.
HYROX benefits your gym with the tools necessary to host their classes, training days, and programmes. Discounts and benefits from HYROX partner brands as well as marketing and communication support are all provided too.
Members also benefit from this affiliate programme by gaining entry discount codes, official HYROX classes, training, and advice as well as access to the HYROX partner gym area at their specific events.
What is The Difference Between a HYROX Affiliate TRAINING CLUB vs PERFORMANCE CENTRE?
If you want your venue to become a HYROX partner gym there are 2 different options you can apply for.
- HYROX AFFILIATE TRAINING CLUBS
- HYROX PERFORMANCE CENTRES
Both of these options are considered to be ‘partners’ but the requirements for each differ.
We should start by saying, all gyms can become a HYROX TRAINING CLUB. However, only premium venues will meet the necessary requirements in order to become PERFORMANCE CENTRES.
Let’s look at both of these affiliation options and their unique requirements, in order to understand whether you’re eligible.
How to Become a HYROX Affiliate Gym?
Become a HYROX TRAINING CLUB
As a gym owner, you’ll be happy to know any gym is suitable to become a HYROX partner gym. HYROX themselves state on their website:
Any kind of gym is suitable to become a HYROX TRAINING CLUB. Your inspiration and our expertise will be the ultimate combination for success. Whether you are a small individual gym or a large chain, the HYROX TRAINING CLUB belongs in any gym.
However, there are three steps you need to follow first to become a HYROX TRAINING CLUB:
#1 – Ensure Your Gym Meets The Standards
To become a HYROX TRAINING CLUB, the first thing you’ll need to check is if you have the right equipment so you can effectively run their programmes.
HYROX provides a detailed breakdown of what equipment you’ll need and this includes:
- Treadmills or space to run 1k: Treadmills or running machines are ideal, but if you have an open space large enough for clients to train for their 1km run that will work too.
- SkiErg Machine: This is for the first station which requires a 1000m pull.
- Sled Push, Sled Track and Bumper Plates: This station requires a 50m sled push and the sled weight will vary between 102kg – 202kg. They also suggest a good quality sled and bumper plates or a 100m sled track.
- Sled Pull: Similar to the Sled push , you will need the sled, sled track and bumpers but also a rope for this station.
- Rowing Machine: HYROX recommends a Concept2 rower.
- Kettlebells: For the competition you need weights of 2 x 16kg, 2x 24kg , 2 x 32 kg for the Farmer’s Carry.
- Sandbags: You will need 10kg, 20kg, 20kg, 30kg.
- Wall Balls: You will need 4kg, 6kg, 6kg, 9kg.
Although this may seem like a lot of equipment to have or purchase, these are needed to effectively run these sessions at your own gym.
Two of the main questions HYROX requires gym owners to consider is:
- Is your equipment and gym space suitable to facilitate HYROX classes?
- Is there enough space to host a smaller scaled down HYROX event?
If you answered yes to these questions, this may be an excellent opportunity to expand your business.
#2 – Apply Via HYROX365 Account
Next, you’ll have to create a HYROX365 account. You can do this by signing up to the HYROX365 Portal. Once done, you can activate your account by using the verification code – If you don’t receive it, check your spam folder!
Once you’ve logged into your HYROX365 account, you can click the button at the bottom labelled ‘BECOME A HYROX TRAINING CLUB TODAY’. You can then e-sign the online affiliation agreement to begin this process.
This is where you can choose whether you want to pay your affiliate fee on a monthly or yearly basis.

#3 – Activate Account & Pay The Affiliate Fee
Once you’ve created your profile and signed the agreement, you’ll then need to activate your account – This process is important and cannot be skipped!
You’ll need to fill out the check out process by providing your billing address and payment details, in order to finalise your registration and secure your position as a HYROX TRAINING CLUB
The cost of this affiliation is not promoted on the UK site, however, the HYROX’s EU site states that this comes in at €90 per month.

How to Become a HYROX PERFORMANCE CENTRE
HYROX states their PERFORMANCE CENTRES:
The gold standard training solution within the HYROX world and includes geographic area exclusivity for operators and access to innovative new features and equipment developed with CENTR to access new paradigms of performance for HYROX athletes.
Keep in mind that whilst HYROX PERFORMANCE CENTRES can advertise and market their services using the brand’s trademarked name, they are not franchises, they are still independent businesses.
To become a HYROX PERFORMANCE CENTRE, you must have at least 180 square metres of dedicated floor space. This is to ensure maximum efficiency, quality, and capacity to effectively carry out this training. HYROX has designed the floor plan to ensure functionality and adaptability.
These PERFORMANCE CENTRES also utilise official HYROX CENTRE Competition- and Concept2 equipment to replicate the exact equipment used on race day. Rogue Fitness provide equipment to meet the needs of HYOX athletes and for this purpose, they stock:
HYROX will also offer a draft design service as part of the business case review stage. All successful applicants will work closely with the HYROX design and onboarding team to ensure a seamless launch or integration.

Do Your Employees Need To Be Qualified to Become a HYROX Affiliate Gym?
Not every employee will need to hold a HYROX qualification, just those who will be teaching the classes.
In order to teach HYROX classes, you first need to hold:
These are both the minimum requirements needed to get onto the HYROX foundation course and complete the following courses:
- HYROX FOUNDATION – This serves as an introduction to HYROX and is needed to become a HYROX Group Instructor.
- HYROX Level 1 – This is designed for aspiring and experienced coaches aiming to elevate their coaching skills and athletic performance.
The HYROX FOUNDATION course is $49 plus taxes. Students on this course will learn all the HYROX fundamentals, receive a 12 week training programme, learn about the HYROX365 training concept and start your coaching journey.
HYROX Level 1 is $499 plus taxes and prepares coaches on a serious level to develop a personal coaching philosophy that inspires and elevates athletes. Students will also gain invaluable insights and tools to help you grow as a coach.
You will also acquire strategies and concepts needed to optimize your coaching process, make a lasting impact on your athletes, and advance your career as a certified coach.
