Tutors are available on evenings and weekends, meaning you can study around your responsibilities. As this study option is entirely self-paced, you can you can progress through it alongside full time work.

Our online and blended study options allow students to qualify from anywhere at any time. Our popular in-person locations where workshops and assessments are held have been specifically chosen to be within reasonable distance of all UK students. Each of these locations have excellent transport links and up to date equipment to ensure our students have the best possible experience during the practical elements of their course.

Yes! All OriGym Personal Training qualifications are internationally recognised, allowing you to work with clients and gyms across the globe. You can learn more about becoming a personal trainer abroad right here.
The duration depends on your chosen study method and whether you already hold a Level 2 Gym Instructing qualification.
If you don’t have any prior qualifications, you’ll need to complete our Personal Training Diploma. This takes:
- Full-time: 4 weeks.
- Part-time or online: Study at your own pace, typically completing in 12–16 weeks.
If you only need to complete the Level 3 Personal Training course, it will take you:
- Full-time: 2 weeks.
- Part-time or online: Study at your own pace, typically completing in 6–8 weeks

Yes, there are many government-recognised personal training courses in the UK. For example, at OriGym our qualifications are regulated by Ofqual (Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation) and endorsed by CIMSPA (Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity).

OriGym offers practical training for students completing their personal training courses on a full-time and part-time basis.
Our full-time course will be completed in our state-of-the-art training centre in Liverpool, where you’ll have access to our custom-built gym floor. Similarly, students on our part-time course can attend weekend practical workshops around the country.
