WHAT CAN YOU DO AFTER COMPLETING A SPECIALIST FITNESS COURSE?
Completing a specialist fitness course opens up career routes that go beyond your initial qualification. Here is what that typically looks like for OriGym graduates.
Specialist fitness professionals can charge significantly more per session than general personal trainers. Adding a recognised advanced qualification in areas like nutrition or special populations gives you the credentials to attract clients with specific needs and increase your hourly rate.
Specialist courses in areas like exercise referral or obesity management broaden your client base and can even open up employment opportunities in clinical and specialist settings.
Some specialist qualifications act as stepping stones into more specialist careers. Completing a Level 3 Exercise Referral course can lead to working with GP-referred clients. For more on this pathway, see our how to become an exercise referral specialist guide.
