Established in 2015 by co-founders Luke Hughes and Steph Roberts, OriGym is the UK’s leading training provider in the health and fitness industry. With over 30 years of collective experience in the fitness industry, our founders have been in the same position as many of our students, which means they understand exactly what training and support is required to become successful.

At OriGym, we offer 3 study methods: full time, part time, and online. Exactly what study methods are available to you depends on which of our courses you choose to study.
Our full-time courses are delivered in a classroom setting and are taught Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm, over 2 to 4 consecutive weeks (the exact number of weeks depends on your chosen course).
If you’d rather study remotely and have a little more flexibility, our online courses are delivered via our award-nominated e-Learning platform. As an online student you’ll benefit from being able to work through the course at your own pace, taking as little or as much time as you need.
Also known as ‘blended learning’, our part-time courses combine online and face-to-face study. You’ll have access to our interactive e-Learning platform as well as practical workshops, led by our expert tutors.
Regardless which study method you choose, our expert tutors will be here to support you throughout your studies. They are available 7 days a week, including evenings via phone, email or chatbox.

Regardless of the study method you choose, you’ll receive the full support of our expert tutoring team. Every member of our team is highly qualified and experienced, ensuring that you receive the highest standard of training.
In addition to in-person teaching or access to custom-built online learning platforms (depending on your study method), you’ll also receive 7-day support from our tutors.

REPs is no longer an organisation in the UK, having merged with CIMSPA in 2020. Our Personal Trainer courses are endorsed by CIMSPA. All of our health and fitness courses are Ofqual-regulated and accredited by an Awarding Organisation.
Yes, our personal training courses are endorsed by CIMSPA. OriGym is also a CIMSPA Training Partner, with ‘Enhancing status’. This is the highest rating available on the CIMSPA quality assurance framework, demonstrating the outstanding quality of our training.
Yes, all of our courses are internationally-recognised. Our graduates have gone on to have successful careers both in the UK and abroad!
OriGym provides accredited and regulated qualifications, with which students can secure job roles or start their own businesses. By delivering internationally-recognised courses, we provide our graduates with the opportunity to take their career abroad as well as work in the UK.
We offer a number of post course services, designed to help our graduates transition from being newly-qualified to having a successful, established career in the industry.
Through our partnerships with large chain and independent gyms across the UK, we’re able to arrange guaranteed job interviews for our personal training graduates. Students can simply reach out to our support team, specify the area in which they are looking for work, and our team will source an interview within a reasonable commute.
Graduates can also reach out for support with their CV. Our in-house team is able to provide feedback and help students to optimise their applications, this is especially useful for graduates looking for their role in the industry.
Our industry connections also allow us to offer CV distribution to all OriGym graduates. If you’re interested in this service, simply reach out to our support team who will be able to share your CV with employers in your area.
Finally, our partnership with Active Careers, a leading jobs board in the fitness industry, means students get exclusive access to 1000’s of jobs and opportunities.
With all CIMSPA-endorsed fitness courses, such as our Level 3 PT qualification, you’ll finish with enough CIMSPA points to qualify for membership, which can then be renewed yearly.
Yes! You’ll receive unlimited free career support after you get your qualification. Whether you want to land your dream job or start your own business, our dedicated post-course support team will help to get you started in the industry.

OriGym has the highest work placement rate in the UK, with 92% of our graduates working in the industry to date. This impressive statistic is in part attributed to these services and the work of our post-course team.
For those who have paid their course in full, we’ll request your digital certificate from the awarding body once all requirements are complete. This process usually takes 3–4 weeks. If you’re on a payment plan, your certificate will be issued once the balance is cleared. If you would like your certificates sooner, you can choose to pay the remaining balance early at no extra cost.
Yes, even after you complete the course you can still access our eLearning Platform. We’ll also provide you with additional information on resources to help support your future career in the industry, this includes valuable business and marketing resources.
